BABY MASSAGE COURSES

baby massage

for babies 6 weeks to 8 months

this course is open to both moms & dads ands covers the following:

  • using oils on the newborn
  • massaging your baby safely
  • contra-indications to massage
  • coping with common ailments ie. colic, constipation
  • stretching & toning exercises for baby

  • baby massage has proved to be a practical solution and trough massaging their babies regularly parents gain confidence and form a positive bond between themselves and their child. Thus children are happier, more self-assured, calmer, cry less and sleep better.

    what to expect

    classes are one week apart for 4 weeks

    1st week – front of the body
    2nd week – back of the body
    3rd week – face and head
    4th week easing common problems and stretching exercises

    the course can be held at your house

    when you arrive we ll spend 10 minutes settling in and meeting one another.

    once we are all settled, I will explain about the type of massage I will be teaching you and the benefits, among other little antidotes about oils for skin care and promoting their development and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions.

    course of 4 weeks is £45 payable in advance.
    one to one sessions £25 per session.
    minimum of 4 mums, maximum of 8.

    what you'll need

    please bring along a changing mat, large towel or blanket and a spare nappy!

    by the end of this course you will have a whole routine for you and your baby to enjoy together. it s great for applying creams and sun lotions without the stress.

    you will receive a hand out of the routine in writing to help you remember once you are both back at home.
